Ini bisa juga merupakan penyempurnaan dari beberapa tutorial hasil copy paste dari situs-situs tersebut. Dalam situs-situs tersebut masih ada peralatan software yang kurang, yang digunakan dalam proses flashing Lumia 520 dan juga Lumia tipe lainnya. Software tersebut adalah Nokia Software Updater NSU yang berfungsi sebagai driver. Software yang digunakan untuk flashing Nokia Lumia adalah Nokia Care Suite NCS. Akan tetapi, NCS belum terdapat driver Nokia Lumia, sehingga ponsel Nokia Lumia tidak akan terdeteksi dan akhirnya proses flashing tidak berjalan. Untuk itu, kita perlu memasang NSU. 1.
